History of CFA can be traced back to on 30 th ,May ,1984 when China Formwork Project Association is established in Beijing with approval of previous State Planning Commission and was instructed by China Construction Enterprise Management Association . More than 80 representatives were present the First Membership Representative Congress ,47 directors were elected for the first session of council with Mr Liu Henian ,Director General and Mr Mi Jiaping ,Secretary General .
On July 6, 1993 authorized by Bureau of State Civil Administration it was national specialized social group, and changed its name to China Formwork Association with registration NO. 1454 ,qualified with social group legal representative identification .
In verification by Bureau of State Civil Administration on March ,1999 ,CFA is the first batch to be approved ,with registration NO 3046 under direct control of State Asset Surveillance Management Committee of State Council and is entrusted by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association .
CFA is an administration to organize research, develop formwork and scaffolds technology ,to improve management and is also conferred on a professional consultant organization of new formwork and scaffolds application technology ,one of Ten Construction Innovations entitled by China Construction Ministry ,responsible for the national wide promotion on scaffolds and formwork.
Abiding by national laws and decrees ,CFA objective is to serve construction industry through assistance of CFA directors and members ,efforts in enterprises orientation ,in order to further promotion and management ,to progress the formwork and scaffolds technology ,to enhance comprehensive economic efficiency .
CFA missions are to guard legal rights and interests of construction industry and those of members through its influence ,to display its roles as information source linking government ,CFA members and organizations concerned ,to be of assistance with government in strengthening management through compiling code and standard ,to host technology communication, quality supervision ,training ,consultation ,cooperation abroad ,and to enhance the enterprises economic interests and social profit by exploring overseas market .
CFA members are composed of manufacturers from 28 cities, provinces and autonomous regions engaging in assemble formwork ,steel formwork ,bridge formwork ,tunnel formwork ,bamboo plywood , glass fiber reinforced plastic formwork shell, besides manufacturers in scaffolds , steel formwork equipments and maintenance machinery ï¼›construction contractors engaging in formwork engineering and rental business and other construction material suppliers. CFA also officials from administration concerned, senior overheads from major contracting companies ,scaffolds and formwork professionals .
Additionally ,CFA has three branches and representative organizations ,five local associations and professional commissions and owns CNFFWW.
